Specific terms may be provided to you in relation to our counselling, support, or product offerings. If there is any inconsistency between this document and those specific terms, the specific terms will take precedence.
All products and services advertised on this website are provided in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Appointment Policy
For counselling appointments we require at least 72 hours notice before cancelling/rescheduling otherwise you will be liable for full fee for appointment. A further appointment will not be scheduled before any outstanding invoices are paid. We understand that sickness can happen the day of appointments, and an alternative method of communication and contact will be offered.
Limitation of Liability
We take our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) seriously and aim to meet or exceed the guarantees provided under the ACL. If you believe there is a problem with a product or service provided, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as required under the ACL.
Our liability is limited, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to:
Replacing the goods or supplying the services again; or
Paying the cost of having the goods or services supplied again.
This limitation does not exclude or restrict any rights you have under the ACL or any other applicable laws that cannot be lawfully excluded.
You take full responsibility for any actions taken based on information or support provided through our services. While we provide options, guidance and support, you are responsible for your decisions and actions. Always consult appropriately qualified professionals where needed. You agree to indemnify us for any claims, losses, or damages arising from the use of our services where there has been no negligence or breach of duty by us.
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or remedies you have under the ACL or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
Refund Policy
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product or service fails to meet a consumer guarantee (for example, if it is not of acceptable quality or does not match the description).
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, we do allow exchanges or replacement of products (unused/unopened) returned within 10 days. If an item from a hamper does not meet your needs, we are happy to offer a substitute if stock is available.
If a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or does not provide the agreed outcomes, please notify us as soon as possible. We may offer to rectify the issue or provide a refund in line with ACL obligations. Where services have been partially delivered, a partial refund may be appropriate.
Peace of Mind Guarantee If you feel that the support or service provided does not meet your expectations, please contact us within 7 days of the first visit. We will explore a resolution with you, which may include replacement services, rebooking, or partial refunds (less any portion covering delivered services or products already received). All refund requests are at our discretion and consistent with the ACL.
Delivery and Shipping
Deliveries are made using trusted carriers. In compliance with Australian Consumer Law, if your product arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, we will either replace the item or issue a refund.
Respectful Communication and Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving disputes in good faith and in accordance with Australian law. Any complaints can be made to us directly. If an issue cannot be resolved, we will follow the procedures recommended by relevant Australian professional and industry bodies and, if required, engage a mediator before any formal legal proceedings.
